Overview The current section includes a detailed checklist adapted from the SELFIE tool that has been produced by the European Commission (2019). SELFIE is an original tool for schools and educational institutions, to measure the effectiveness of the integration of digital technologies into education and training. SELFIE works as an assessment; based on the results, a customised report is produced to help educational organisations prepare an action plan for proper incorporation of new technologies in learning. Considering that there is no such tool for assessing the delivery of distance learning, the consortium of the “OnlineHE” project has developed a practical checklist, using the SELFIE tool as a foundation. Following the directives of the European Commission, the checklist is divided into eight (8) areas that cover the whole spectrum of educational programmes.
